Author: Alleged extortionist from Ghana threatened to turn over congressman’s Social Security number to theves. Other members of Congress also said to be targeted. U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler was threatened by an alleged extortionist in Ghana who got hold of his Social Security number and threatened to turn it over to identity thieves, the congressman’s attorney said today.
